LHS = (√6+√2)/(√6-√2)

=[(√6+√2)/(√6-√2)][(√6+√2)/(√6+√2)]

= (√6+√2)²/[(√6)²-(√2)²]

= (6+2+2√12)/(6-2)

= (8+2√12)/4

= (8+4√3)/4

= 8/4 + (4√3)/4

= 2+√3

= p+√q [ given , RHS]

Compare , it

p = 2 , q = 3

Therefore,

p=2 , q = 3
