Let the principal amount be Rs P.

Assuming Simple Interest, rate of interest be r.

Amount in 2 years = Rs 704

Amount in 5 years = Rs 800

By subtracting Rs.8,600 from Rs.9,800/- we get 1 years Simple Interest.

1 years SI = Rs.12///-.

Now 4years SI =1200x4=Rs.4800/-

Amount- SI = Principal

9800 - 4800 = Rs.5000/- is the Principal .

1200 × 100 ÷4800 = 25% is the rate of interest.
