area of sector=60/360×22/7×15×15

=55×15/7=117.8

=117.7-(225/2×√3/2)

=117.7-225×1.73/4

=81.6/4=20.4cm^2

area of major sector =(πr^2)-20.4cm^2

=706.5-20.4

=686.1cm^2
