Price = 2400.

Discount = 10%

Sales price = 2400 - 10% of 2400

                  = 2160.

Now,

Let cost price be x.

x + 25% of x = 2160

x + (25/100) * x = 2160

x + 0.25x = 2160

1.25x = 2160

x = 2160/1.25

x = 1728.

Therefore, Cost price is 1728
