Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

FIRST we will find how much the vendor buy things

so, we will how much total cost has bought orange bars

now , no . of orange bars bought *cost of each orange bar= total cost of orange bars

=48*4

=rupees 192

then , we will how much total cost has bought vanilla cups

no.of vanilla bought *cost of each vanilla= total cost of  vanilla cups

=25*9

=225

and last but not the least ice but in this we have to add orange bars and vanilla cups=48+25=73

then multiply by 3

=73*3

=219

now add all cost

=total cost of orange bars+total cost of  vanilla cups+ice total cost

=219+225+192

=636

now selling price

240+200+31=471

As per rule if cost price is greater than price cost .So, the person is in loss

in this case same is happening cost price = 636 , selling price =471

636>471

so,  the vendor is in loss but how much loss

in order to know we have to do :

cost price(c.p)-selling price (s.p)=loss price

=636-471=165

so the Main answer is :

The vendor is in net loss by rupees 165
