We can simply solve the above problem as follows -

First, we will convert the lengths of the ribbon to proper fractions -

The total length of the ribbon =

16 \frac{3}{5}  = 5 \times 16 + 3 =  \frac{83}{3} m

Length of the one piece of the ribbon =

So,
