If the length of the ladder placed against a wall is twice the distance
between the foot of the ladder and the wall, find the angle made by the
ladder with the horizontal floor.

Answer:

base=x

hypotenuse=2x

cos(theeta)=x/2x=1/2= cos60*

and angle is 60

simply make a right angle triangle with base x =horizontal distance

hypotenuse 2x =ladder

perpendicular √3 x=hieght at which ladder is placed
