Asexual reproduction is that type of reproduction in which only single parent is involved.

It takes place by different methods like budding, binary fission etc. .

(i) Budding : In this type of reproduction new individuals develop from the buds. For example - reproduction in hydra.

ii) Binary fission : In this type of reproduction, a single organism gets divided into two.
