Frictional force :- This is a contact force which come into play when a body slides or tends to slide on another body .This Force come into play only when there is relative motion between two bodies. If the bodies are at rest there is no force of friction between them. This force always act in the direction opposite to the direction of motion of the object .For example:- when you roll a ball on the floor it's come to rest after travelling A certain distance although you do not apply force to stop it as a circle stop after sometimes if you stop pedalling akka comes to rest if its stop hair frictional force act in the direction opposite to the direction of the motion.
