(a^2 - 1)/2

= (a-1)(a+1)/2

I) 21^2 = (21-1)(21+1)/2 = 20*22/2 = 220

next number = 220+1 = 221

similarly

ii) 13^2 = 84 + 85

iii) 11^2 = 60 + 61

iv) 19^2 = 180 + 181
