y=2x+3=0-i

X=-3/2

Subustituting value of x in equation i

Y=2(-3/2)+3

Y=2/1(-3/2)+3

By cross multiplication

Y=1/3+3

Y=1/3+3/1

by cross multiplication

Y=7/3

\frac{-3}{2}

step-by-step explanation:

Given,

y = 2x + 3

=> y - 2x = 3

Dividing the Equation with 3,

we get,

=> y/3 - 2x/3 = 1

=> y/3 + x/(-3/2) = 1

we know that,

in Equation,

x/a + y/b = 1

a is called x intercept

therefore,

in the given question,

x intercept is (-3/2)
