The main objectives of Environmental Geography are:
To find out the environmental problems which are developed to
the interaction of economie man with the environment,

in order to study the environmental related problems.
Scope of environmental geography :This branch of geography is quite
new and in practice it is yet to attain a developed status, But it is seen
that, this branch is gaining more popularity and relevance due to ever
increasing environmental problems throughout the globe. So its scope
covers a very wide areas or in other words the earth's environment is the
scope of environmental geography. It also includes all the components of
atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere

All the materials or components which are found over the surface
of the earth or a part of it are termed as the elements of environment. It
includes all the physical or natural phenomena and man made phenomena
The elements of the earth's environment or part of it are belongs to two
categories, which are known as the-() Biotic elements and (ii) Abiotic
elements
Biotie elements : All the living organisms of an area or over the
surface of the earth are termed as the biotie elements. It covers
from the tiny Microbes to the vast animals and all the plants.
Abiotic elements: All the non-living elements of an environment
are termed as the abiotic elements. Rocks, Water, sun shine, wind,
etc. are the examples of abiotic elements of environment​
