- After Jody accepted the responsibility for looking after the fawn. He took it to the kitchen and fed it with milk. He dipped his fingers in the milk and thrust them into the fawn's soft wet mouth. Hence, one can say that jody carried out his responsibility quite well.
- He tried to decide whether his memory was right or Parimal Ghose by looking at his right knee where Parimal had claimed that there would be a cut. There was certainly a mark of an old cut. However, he could not decide if the cut was the result of his fall in Ranchi or due to some incident in his childhood.
- The poet was convinced that Ernest – was much nobler than him. Ernest's face had such a grand expression that he declared that Ernest bore the likeness of the Great Stone Face.
- No, its not right to kill an animal to save a human. Everybody has their right on their lives. Human beings have been exploiting the animals from years. For example, tigers are killed for their skin and bones.
- When Stephen Hawking said that the disabled people should concentrate on what they are good at,the writer related the guitar incident that he had tried to learn a Spanish guitar which was larger than he himself. It supports Stephen's idea.
