so,
6x+9y=7500
2x+3y=2500...(taking 3 common)...(1)
x-y=1050....(2)
on multiplying eq. 2 by 2
2x-2y=2100
by elemenation method
y=400
x=1450
therefore bat costs 1450 and a ball costs 400
