On a cartesian plane, draw a rectangle whose two vertices are (2, 1) and (6, 6).
Write the coordinates of the other two vertices.​

If you refer to the diagram then you will find that on the basis of those two points or co ordinates given we are producing a likely trajectory which will be parrelel to x and y axis such that the given points can be met into each other thus creating other two co ordinates to make the four vertices of a rectangle

Here, as the rectangle has two parallel sides we've projected the two points parallel to x and y axis along a line thus allowing these two intersect and make the rectangle.

Also there would have been arbitrarily many points possible had not they been parallel to x and y axis. As we see in second diagram

The distance between the two points is √(6²-2²)+(6²-1²)=√41 units

Now any straight line longer or Shorter than this dimension from the points will give a rectangle. So all these points will be a possibility.
