➡ 45 students are there

{\pink{\underline{\underline{\purple{\textsf{\textbf{Explanation : }}}}}}}

Let's assume the total number is students as x

Where, 60% are girls and the rest are the boys

So, No. of boys = x - (60% of x)

Or, 2x/5

According to the question :

⇒ 2x/5 = 18

⇒ x = 18*5/2

⇒ x = 9*5

⇒ x = 45 students are there.

\LARGE\mathcal{\color{maroon}{SOLUTION♡}}

\:

Given that ,

\longrightarrow Girls = 60% of the total students .

\longrightarrow Boys = 18 in number .

\longrightarrow To find total number of students in the class.

\:

\large\underline{\odot{\mid{According\:to\: question:-}}}

\implies \mathtt\green{\large{x-}{\frac{60}{100}}}{\mathtt{\large{\green{×x=18}}}}

\implies \mathtt\blue{\large{\frac{2x}{5}{=18}}}

\implies \large\mathtt{\blue{2x=18×5}}

\implies \large\mathtt{\blue{2x=90}}

\implies \large\mathtt{\red{\underline{\underline{x=45}}}}

\:

Therefore total number of students in class = 45 .
