6. In a parallelogram ABCD, AB = 18 cm, BC = 12 cm, AL perpendicular DC and AM perpendicular BC.

Area of parallelogram is same

AM×BC=AL×CD

Given AL=6.4cm and AB=18cm BC=12cm

So AM×12=6.4×18

AM=9.6cm
