\Huge{\mathfrak{\green{\underline{\red{Solution}}}}}

Given:

  • Principal = 6750 rupees
  • Simple Interest = 8000 rupees
  • Rate of interest = 5%

To Find:

  • Simple Interest = ?
  • Time = ?

Solution:

Let's understand

Here, principal is ₹6750, amount is ₹8000 and rate of interest is 5% and firstly we have to find Simple Interest and after that we have to find time.

We know that,

\large{\sf{\fbox{red{Simple \: Interest=Amount - Principal}}}}

Now,put the values on their places and find Simple Interest.

 \sf \implies \: simple \: interest = 8000 - 6750 \\  \\   \sf \implies \: simple \: interest = 1250 \: rupees

Hence, Simple Interest is 1250 rupees.

Now, after finding the Simple Interest we have to find time.

We know that,

\large{\sf{\fbox{\green{Time={\frac{S.I × 100}{P × R%}}}}}}

Now, put the values on their places.

 \sf \implies \: time =  \frac{1250 \times 100}{6750 \times 5}  = 3 \: years

Hence,Time is 3 years.
