6. Rakesh is painting the walls and ceiling of a
cuboidal classroom with length, breadth and height
of 15 m, 10 m and 7m respectively.
Each can of paint covers 100 m² of area. How many
cans of paint is needed to paint the room?​

Answer:

Area of wall = 2(l + b) x h

=2(15 +10) x 7

=50 x 7 = 350 sq.m

paint can for 100m^2 = 1

paint for 350m^2 = 350/100

= 3.5 cans or 3 and a half cans.
