Hey mate...

Here's your answer

so if two lines are parallel then their slopes would be equal. so if we prove that their slopes are equal then they are parallel.

SLOPE OF (-1,1) AND (-9,6)

y2-y1/x2-x1=6-1)/(-9)-(-1)

                =6-1/-9+1=5/-8=[-5/8]-------(1)

SLOPE OF (-2,14) AND (6,9)

y2-y1/x2-x1=9-14/6-(-2)

                     =[-5/8]---------------------(2)

(1) and (2) are equal ..since the slopes are equal .,therefore the lines are parallel..

hope it help you..please mark this as brainliest.....
