12-9=3

15-12=3

now, the general term...

note that the nth term ,means the formula an=a+(n-1)d is also known as the general term.

so, an=9+(n-1)3

= 9 +3n-3

=6+3n......(1)

Now, 15th term....

a15=9 + 14×3

=9+42

=51.... (2)
