The age of a boy is one third of his father. If the sum of their ages is 80 years. Find
their ages after 10 years ? ​

Let the age of boy = x

Then age of father = 3x

from given,

x +3x = 80

4x = 80

x = 20

So 3x = 60

After 10 years

Age of boy = 20 + 10 = 30

Age of father = 60 +10 = 70
