Find the height and volume of a right circular cylinder if it is curved surface area is 4.4 m²  and radius of base is 0.7 m

 \huge \colorbox{orange}{Given :-}

⇒ Curved Surface Area of a right circular cylinder = 4.4 m²

⇒ Radius of Base = 0.7 m²

 \huge \colorbox{orange}{To \: Find  :-}

⇒  Height of  right circular cylinder

⇒ Volume of  right circular cylinder

\huge \colorbox{orange}{Solution  :-}

⇒ As we know that

\sf Curved\: Surace\: Area\: of \: right \: circular\; Cylinder = 2\pi rh

⇒ Let the height be x

→    4.4 m^{2} = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times \ 0.7 \times x \\\\4.4 m^{2}  = 2 \times \ 22 \times  0.1 \times x \\\\x = \frac{4.4}{22\times 2 \times 0.1} \\\\x = 1

∴ Height of  right circular cylinder = 1 m

⇒ Now , we will find its volume :

\sf Volume\:of\:a\:right\;Circular\:cylinder = \pi r^{2} h

= \frac{22}{7} \times 0.7 \times 0.7 \times 1 \\\\\\= 22 \times 0.1 \times 0.7 \times 1 \\\\= 1.54 \: m^{3}

∴ Volume of  right circular cylinder = 1.54 m³
