Answer:

You have not mentioned that whether the Cylinder is hollow or solid from inside and you have also not mentioned that whether the Cylinder is open or closed. But I am assuming it as hollow and closed because in maximum cases it is hollow and closed.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, Diameter = 7 cm i.e., Radius = 3.5 cm

Given, Total cost = ₹ 1078

and, Rate = ₹ 2.50 / cc

Hence, Total Surface Area = 1078/2.50

= 107800/250

= 10780/25

= 431.2

By condition,

2×22/7×r(h+r) = 431.2

=> 2×22/7×3.5(h+3.5) = 431.2

=> 2×22/70×35(h+3.5) = 431.2

=> 2×22/10×5(h+3.5) = 431.2

=> 220/10(h+3.5) = 431.2

=> 22(h+3.5) = 431.2

=> h+3.5 = 431.2 / 22

=> h+3.5 = 4312/220 = 19.6

=> h = 19.6 - 3.5 = 16.1 cm (ans).

The height of the Cylinder is 16.1 cm.

Answer:

total volume( as cc is mentioned in question) = 1078/*2.50

= 431.2 cc

By The Prob. pie r²h = 431.2 ( where r=3.5cm)

By doing the calculation we get H= 11.2 cm
