6. The length of one of the diagonal of a Rhombus is greater than the other diagonal by
9 cm. If area of a rhombus is 95 cm' then find length of greater diagonal.

Area of Rhombus = 95

= d1xd2/2

one diagonal=x

other=x+9

X(x +9)/2 = 95

x (x+9)=190

x2 +9x-190 = 0

.factorise:

(x+19)(x-10)=0

x=10

x+9 =19

diagonals, 10, 19cm

greatest diagonal=19cm
