Perimeter is sum of three sides.

3x-5+2x-3+x+3 = 25

=> 6x -5 = 25

=> 6x = 30

=> X = 5

Three sides are :

15–5=10, 10–3=7, 5+3=8

Smallest side is 7

Note :

One has to be careful while attempting such questions as many students stop after calculating value of x.

The question is not asking for value of x, but is asking for smallest side.
