Concept:

The power equals current times voltage

Given:

The Power of the bulb is 440 Watt

Voltage across the circuit is 220 Volt

FInd:

The rate of current drawn from the bulb.

Solution:

Power = Voltage × Current

Power = Current² × Resistance

Power = Voltage² / Resistance

So as we have given power and voltage and have to find out the current then we will have to use the first relation of Power.

Power = Voltage × Current

We have given Power as 440 Watt and Voltage across the circuit as 220 Volt.

440 = 220 × Current

So current will equal to the Power divided by voltage

Current = 440 / 220

Current = 2 Ampere

So the rate of current drawn from the bulb is 2 A.

So the value of current drawn from bulb is 2A.
