area of trapezium is 960 cm.

distance is 16 cm

area of trapezium=1/2(sum of parallel sides) perpendicular distance

area =1/2*(5x+3x) 16

960 =8x*8

960/8= 8x

8x=120

x=15

5x=5*15=75

3x=3*15=45
