Thus, the area of the garden = (12 × 5) square centimetres

Again we know,

100 centimeters = 1 meter

Therefore 60 cm = 60÷100

=3/5

In 5 square meters takes 1 bag of fertiliser

Therefore 3/5square meters take 5×3/5=3
