Step-by-step explanation:

if one side is 3cm, the hypotenuse is 5cm then, the receiving side will be √{(5)²-(3)²,i.e;4cm

then, let a=3 cm,b=4cm ,& c=5cm

so, s=(5+4+3)/2=6cm

Area of the triangle will be√{{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}}

  • √{6.3.2.1.}
  • √36
  • 6 cm²

Area of the triangle is 6cm²
