Dilute hydrochloric acid turn blue litmus red since the presence of acids change the color of blue litmus.

EXPLANATION:

Methyl orange indicator turns reddish pink because of the action of dilute HCl. Methyl orange turn pink coloured in acidic solutions and yellow coloured in basic solutions.

Phenolphthalein indicator will remain 'colourless' by the action of HCl. The phenolphthalein indicator is colourless in acidic mediums while it turns to 'pink colour' in basic solutions.  

The red litmus paper remains as such and there is no change of colour in red litmus when HCl acts on it.
