Answer:

hey here is your solution

pls mark it as brainliest answer pls

so here we go

Step-by-step explanation:

let the present age of Mr x be x years and that of his son's age be y years

according to first condition

(x-6)=5(y-6)

ie x-6=5y-30

ie x-5y=-24 (1)

according to second condition

(x+6)=3(y+6)

ie x+6=3y+18

ie x-3y=12 (2)

subtract (2) from (1)

we get

x-5y=-24

x-3y=12

(-) (+) (-)

________

-2y=-36

ie y=18

substitute value of y in any of above two equations

we get

x=66

thus present age of Me x is 66 years and that of his son's age is 18 years

thus option b is ryt

hope it helped u a lot
