ANSWER:-

▪︎ Given:-

\tt\leadsto60 {x}^{2}  - 70x - 30.

▪︎ To Find:-

  • The zeroes of given polynomial.

\rule{200}2

▪︎ So,

Lets divide the whole equation by 10 to make the calculation easy also to find the zeroes the given polynomial should be = 0.

\sf \mapsto \frac{6\cancel{0 }{x}^{2}  - 7\cancel0x - 3\cancel0 = 0}{1\cancel0}  \\  \\ \sf \mapsto6 {x}^{2}  - 7x - 3 = 0

\rule{200}2

▪︎ Now,

By factorization method lets first multiply 6 and 3 then find the factors of the result.

\tt\leadsto6 \times 3 = 18 \\  \\ \sf \: and \\  \\\tt\leadsto 18= 2 \times 3 \times 3 \\  \\ \sf \: also \\  \\ \tt\leadsto(3 \times 3) - 2  \\  =\tt 9 - 2 \\  = \tt 7  = middle \: term

\rule{200}2

▪︎ Therefore By splitting middle term,

 \sf \mapsto6{x}^{2}  - (9 - 2)x - 3 = 0 \\  \\ \sf \mapsto6 {x}^{2} - 9x + 2x - 3 = 0 \\  \\  \sf \mapsto3x(2x - 3) + 1(2x - 3) = 0 \\  \\ \sf \mapsto(3x + 1)(2x - 3) = 0 \\  \\ \sf \mapsto3x + 1 = 0 \:   \:  \: \: or  \:  \: \:  \: 2x - 3 = 0 \\  \\ \sf \small \red{\fbox{\mapsto \: x =  \frac{ - 1}{3}  \:  \:  \:  \: or  \:  \: \:  \: x =  \frac{3}{2} }}
