Let’s assume 100kg of grapes. If they’re are 95% water, then they are 5% grape, or:

100 x .05=5

If the water content drops to 90%, then that 5 kg becomes 10% of the content. Let n be the weight of the grapes after the water content has fallen. Then:

.1n=5

n=5/.1

=50 kg of grapes………..
