Let n is the number of cubes in each side.

Total cube is 64

We are in 3 dimensions.

Hence,n^{3} =64=4^{3}

Hence, n =4 cubes in each side.

To make this cube one cube longer,we have to add one cube in each side.

Hence,N=6

So, new no. of cubes will be 6^{3}

=216

So, new added no. of cubes for covering will be 216-64 = 152.

152 is the answer.

Hope it helps.

Step-by-step explanation:

The required number of cubes should be a perfect cube:

64+61=125

64+152=216

and so on....

so it will be 61,152,...
