Step-by-step explanation:

6x - 5y = 16

7x -13y = -10

6x -5y = 16 × 7

7x -13y = -10 × 6

42x - 35y = 112

42x -78y = -60

(-) (+) (+)

43y = 172

y= 172÷ 43

y = 4

hey mate :-

given here:

6x - 5y - 16 = 0,

7x-13y + 10 = 0.

solution :-

6x-5y=16. (1)

7x-13y= -10. (2)

multiply by 7 ×(1) - 6×(2)

we get ,

42x - 35 y = 112

42x - 78y = -60

subtract...its

43y = 172

y = 172/43

y = 4

put value in (1)

6x- 5×4= 16

6x =16 +20

6x =(36)

x=36/6

x=6

thus:

x= 6

y=4

i hopes its helps u
