6x+7x+2  = 0

13x+2  =0

13x =-2

x= -2/13x


if the question is 6x^2 +7x+2

then,

6x^2 + (3+4)x +2  =0

6x^2 +3x+4x+2  =0

3x(2x+1) +2(2x+1)  =0

(3x+1)(2x+1)  =0

now,

3x= -1  OR  2x = -1

and 

x= -1/3   OR  x= -1/2
