Answer: Corresponding Angles

If triangle ABC is isoceles and AB = AC.

Angle A = 100°

Therefore, Angle B and C = 40°

According to question BC is extended till D

And, Angle ECD = 40°

Angle ECD and Angle ABC are corresponding angles

As these two angles are equal, using property of equal corresponding angles in Parallel lines.

We can declare AB and EC parallel
