Answer :

x = -4 , -15

Solution :

Here ,

The given quadratic equation is ;

6x² + 19x + 10 = 0 .

Comparing the given quadratic equation with the general quadratic equation ax² + bx + c = 0 , we have ;

a = 6

b = 19

c = 10

Now ,

The discriminant of the given quadratic equation will be given as ;

=> D = b² - 4ac

=> D = 19² - 4•6•10

=> D = 361 - 240

=> D = 121

Also ,

The formula for finding the solution of a quadratic equation is ;

x = (-b ± √D)/2 , where D = b² - 4ac

Thus ,

=> x = (-19 ± √121)/2

=> x = (-19 ± 11)/2

=> x = (-19 + 11)/2 , (-19 - 11)/2

=> x = -8/2 , -30/2

=> x = -4 , -15

Hence ,

x = -4 , -15 .
