Solution :

6x² - 54

= 6x² - 9 × 6

= 6 ( x² - 9 )

= 6 ( x² - 3² )

= 6( x + 3 )( x - 3 )

[ By algebraic identity,

a² - b² = ( a + b )( a - b ) ]

Given :

6 x² - 54

Dear , take 6 as common :

6 ( x² - 9 )

==> 6 ( x² - (3)² )

We know that a² - b² = ( a + b )( a - b)

==> 6 ( x - 3 )( x + 3 )

The answer is : 6 ( x - 3 )( x + 3 )

Hope I helped you :-)
