first let us take the first equation
6y-19=3y-10
6y-3y= -10+19
. 3y=9
. y=9/3
. y=3

therefore the value of y is 3

2)now lets solve the second one

9 - 2(x-5) = x-10
9 - 2x+10 = x-10
19-2x = x-10
19+10= x+2x
29 = 3x
29/3 = x
thus,the x value is obtained
