✌HEY DEAR

HERE'S UR ANSWER

6y \div 2 + 1 = 7y - 3 \div 3

Let's change it into fractional form for our convenience:

 \frac{6y}{2 + 1}  =  \frac{7y - 3}{3}

add 2 and 1:

 \frac{6y}{3}  =  \frac{7y - 3}{3}

cross multiply the two fractions:

3(6y) = 3(7y - 3)

18y = 21y - 9

take 21y on the left hand side and change it's sign:

 18y - 21y =  - 9

 - 3y =  - 9

Here,the minus sign remains with 3 bcuz 21is greater than 18 and it is a rule of maths that during addition and subtraction,the sign with the bigger a lie is always used.

Take -3 on the right hand side and change it's sign.

y =   - 9 + 3

Again the sign with the bigger value will be used:

y =  - 6

TO CHECK,PUT IN THE VALUE OF y AND SOLVE IT...IF THE BOTH SIDES GIV THE SAME ANSWER THAN IT'S CORRECT. OTHERWISE IT'S NOT.
