Hi there

Your answer is :- 6

• 7 = 42

7 × 6 = 42

• 6 = 30

6 × 5 = 30

• 5 = 20

5 × 4 = 20

• 3 = 6

3 × 2 = 6

( Beacuse in previous pattern of number they are multiplied by their Predecessor number.
and 2 is the predecessor. )

Thank You

Given

7 = 42

6 = 30

5 = 20

To find

we have to find the value of 3

Solution

we have been given a set of numbers that have been solved and one is left out

The solution to the above problem is as follows

The number 7 is multiplied by 6 so we get = 42

  • Now the next number 6 is multiplied  by 5 =30
  • And so on 5*4 =20

So we get the for the value of 3 as 3*3 = 9

So the answer to that problem is 9

Extra point

We can see that it follows a pattern if we observe the numbers are multiplied by the number that comes just before them or below them
