A cylinder and a cone have equal bases

therefore they have equal radii.

Let the radius be r.

Area of its base=100cm²

πr²=100cm²

volume of the solid figure=500cm³

volume of the cylindrical part+ volume of comical part=500

πr²h+1/3 πr²h=500

pie ,pie Will get cancel

100×3+1/3×100×h=500

300+100/3 ×h=500

100/3×h=500-300

100×h/3=200

h=200×3/100

h =6cm

Height of the figure=h+h

=3+6

=9cm

Height of the figure is 9cm

Hope it helps you
