7. A group of people is standing in a line at a movie theatre. Three-eights of the people were boys and one-quarter of the people were girls. How much of the group were adults?​

There are 8c2 ways to pick the people who are going to watch the same movie, and then there are 12 different movies. 8c2 is equal to 28 so 28x12= 336 possibilities for exactly two people to watch the same movie. The total number of possibilities is 12c8 which is 495. 336/495 which simplifies to 112/165. Now apple similar logic for exactly 3 people all the way to exactly 8. Add all the probabilities up and you will get the answer.
