Area of the painting = l × b

30cmx24cm=720cm sq.

the area of larger painting after adding margin

length =30+(3+3)

=36

breath =24+(3+3)

=30

area=36cmx30cm

=1080cm sq.

Then we will find the area of margin by subtracting the the smaller area from the largest area

= 1080cm sq. -720cm sq.

= 360cm sq.
