(b) When it is placed on its widest base.

a.)Area of brick when upright=5cm*10cm=50cm

pressure=force/area

=2.5/50/100*100

2.5*10000/50

=500 Pa

b.) Area of the widest base=25cm*10cm=250cm

pressure=2.5/250/100*100

=2.5*10000/250

=100 Pa
