Answer:

The cost of each chairs is Rs. 680 and the cost of each table is Rs. 560.

Explanation:

let the cost of each chair be x and the cost of each table be y.

As per the given Condition: we have

7x+4y=Rs 7000             ......[1]

5x+3y= Rs 5080            ......[2]

Solve the equation [1] and [2] simultaneously we get;

x = Rs. 680

Substitute the value of x in equation [1] we have;

7 \cdot (680) +4y=7000  or

4760+4y=7000 or

4y= 7000-4760 = Rs. 2240

On simplify, we get;

y = Rs. 560.

Therefore, the cost of each chairs is Rs. 680 and the cost of each table is Rs. 560.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the cost of chair = x

let the cost of table =y

7x+4y=₹7000___(1)

5x+3y=₹5080___(2)

(7x+4y=₹7000)3⇒   21x+12y=2100

(5x+3y=₹5080)4⇒  20x+12y=20320

                               (-)     (-)

                                           x=680

substitude x=680 in eq(1)

7(680)+4y=7000

4760+4y=7000

          4y=7000-4760

          4y=2240

            y=2240/2

            y=1120

∴cost of 1 chair = ₹680

 cost of 1 table = ₹1120
