Excessive carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is responsible for global warming . After , the combustion of fuels or any other substances , the black smoke coming out is carbon dioxide along with other gases . Also , we humans inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide . This results in the accumulation of excessive carbon dioxide in the atmosphere , which leads to global warming. So , in order to reduce global warming we need to plant more trees because plants inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen .
