The diameter of a circular park is 104 m. A road of width 3.5 m is on the outside around it.
Find the cost of constructing the road at rupees 15 per square metre​

Answer:

radius of cirular park without road isR=52

and radius of circular park with road is=52+3.5=55.5

Now,area of road =π(R2-r2(

=22/7[(55.5)^2-52^2]

=22/7(3080.25-2704)

=22/7×376.25

=22×53.75

=1182.5

the cost of constructing the road =1182.5÷15

=Rs17737.5
